The house is located in the surroundings of Vilcabamba village, built and designed by a French Architect.
The land is hilly and the house is located on the top of a small hill. The car entrance is up and the pedestrian entrance is up and down the land.
The view is amazing - 360 degrees… mountains, river, town, sunrise and sunset view.

The big roof terrace has a glass room, a fountain, a bathroom, flower planters, and a fireplace.
The middle floor has one bedroom, bathroom, closets, outside dining area, living area, open kitchen and fireplace.
On the bottom floor is one studio apartment and storage room plus a laundry area.
There is a garage for two cars and an automatic gate, one pedestrian gate up and another down the road going to the village. Just at the side of the garage, there is a well-done agriculture planters area with a tool locker.
Down the land, there is a flat area for building another small studio apartment close to a paved road going to the village..

A protected forest as a neighbor

The area formed by the valleys of Quinara, Vilcabamba and Malacatos was called by the ancient inhabitants of this region: the ¨Sacred Valley of Vilcabamba¨. In the center of the valley of Malacatos rises a mountain that contains a virgin native forest of "Faique", representative tree of this area. This forest is a refuge for a great variety of local birds that nest here. Is it possible that their choice of habitat is influenced by the incredible views of the valley and the magnificent mountains that surround it, where each sunset is a new life experience?

The Malacatos Valley, next to the Vilcabamba Valley, is located at 1590 meters / 5200 feets above sea level, just a 25-minute drive from the small, peaceful city of Loja in southeastern Ecuador. Blessed with a year-round spring-like climate, the valley boasts a remarkable variety of fruits and flowers.
